Thanks for your feedback. The problem applies to all word documents. It seems only to affect word, as powerpoint and excel are both running well. In my case Aravinda's advice -- which came respondijg the point that I was about to uninstall Office and request a refund -- halted the freezes. The culprit was an outdated add-on жмите EndNote that got loaded at wird time from a legacy Word setting apparenty.
Once that add-on was removed, Word stopped freezing. More testing will be needed, of course. I just appied Aravinda's fix a few minutes ago. But I'll return here if there are any further issues.

I have tried running word in safe mode, and the same problem occurs. I have also disabled all add-ins. The problem still occurs. This site in other languages x.
